HEBOH di kalangan ahli Umno Pulau Pinang dengan isu penghantaran Pegerusi Jawatankuasa Kemajuan dan Keselamatan Kampung Persekutuan atau JKKK(P) ke Luar Negara oleh agensi Negeri di bawah Pentadbiran Kerajaan Pusat.
Lebih 300 Pengerusi JKKK(P) seluruh Pulau Pinang dihantar ‘berkursus’ ke Luar Negara dengan sebuah agensi Kerajaan Pusat yang beroperasi di Pulau Pinang membabitkan dana hampir RM 2 juta.
Semua Pengerusi JKKK(P) ini dihantar selama tiga hari dua malam secara berperingkat-peringkat sejak Januari lalu ke Luar Negara bagi mengembalikan semangat ‘perjuangan’ mereka kepada Umno.
Menurut sumber dalaman Umno, mereka terkejut dengan isu ini kerana yang menjalankan tugas parti di peringkat akar umbi adalah ahli biasa, tetapi yang mendapat ‘keistimewaan’ ini hanyalah Pengerusi JKKK (P) yang rata-ratanya Ketua Umno Cawangan.
“Kita buat kerja siang dan malam untuk menangkan parti, tapi kita tak dapat apa pun, yang dapat Ketua Umno Cawangan dan kroni-kroni mereka sahaja”, katanya kepada wartawan.
Malah, ada yang mendakwa sumbangan Ramadan juga tidak diterima tetapi semuanya dibolot oleh anggota keluarga Ketua Umno Cawangan dan kroni-kroni mereka sahaja.
Sumber juga mengatakan bahawa, rata-rata Pengerusi JKKK (P) ini dihantar ke China, Indonesia dan Thailand sebagai tanda terima kasih Umno kepada mereka yang berjasa kepada parti selama ini.
Dikatakan setiap Pengerusi JKKK(P) menerima wang saku sebanyak RM 2,000 dan segala kos pengangkutan dan penginapan yang dianggarkan sebanyak RM 5,000 seorang ditanggung oleh agensi berkenaan.
Di Pulau Pinang, terdapat dua buah agensi negeri yang ditadbir Kerajaan Pusat iaitu Lembaga Kemajuan Wilayah Pulau Pinang (PERDA) dan Jawatankuasa Pemandu (JKP) yang ditadbir Unit Penyelarasan Pelaksanaan (ICU) Jabatan Perdana Menteri.
Diantara kedua-dua Agensi ini, Agensi mana yang terlibat dalam menyalurkan dana rakyat kepada Pengerusi JKKK(P) seluruh Pulau Pinang ini?
